A Blueprint for an Evolution Education Workshop

NCSE in cooperation with the University of California Museum of Paleontology has prepared a "Blueprint for an Evolution Education Workshop." This "how to" guide is a project arising from discussions held at the National Conference on the Teaching of Evolution, held in October, 2000 in Berkeley (http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/ncte/).

Members of many scientific societies were interested in holding workshops for local teachers at their annual society meetings, but most had no experience organizing such affairs. The "Blueprint" was written to provide information and advice based on the collective experience of scientists and master teachers. Writers included Eugenie C. Scott, Judy Scotchmoor (of the UCMP), Dale Springer, Brian Alters, John Banister-Marks, and Craig Nelson. To learn more, go to:
