Ericca Thornhill

With decades of teaching experience, Ericca Thornill knows the importance of clearly defining science to help her students recognize and avoid pseudoscience. She loves exploring, both places and ideas, and uses her kayak for that whenever possible. An alumna of the NASA Educational Workshop, Toyota International Teacher Program, and the Honeywell Space Academy, Thornhill knows the importance of making science interesting and relevant to her students. She's taught gifted students at Missouri Scholars Academy for many years. She knows that while science teaching is one of the most difficult careers, the difference that a good science teacher makes is nothing less than the progress of civilization itself.
