Hawaii's House Resolution 134 passed the House of Representatives on April 7, 2022. Observing that "Hawaii faces an uncertain future as the global climate crisis intensifies and puts the health of Hawaii's people, environment, and economy at risk," the resolution requests the state department of education "to ensure that career and technical education standards focus on place-based responsiveness to climate change and preparing students to engage in a growing green economy." The resolution is now with the Senate; it will presumably become House Concurrent Resolution 134 if it passes there.
