NCSE is seeking to hire a Director of Community Science Education. The Director of Community Science Education will be responsible for the direction and strategic expansion of the NCSE Science Booster Club program, which facilitates the creation and support of local community-based groups to provide hands-on, accessible evolution and climate change activities at community events. The Director of Community Science Education is responsible for the training of volunteers and oversight of the collection of data on club activities. The Director of Community Science Education also conducts and publishes research on the Science Booster Club Program, identifies and maintains organizational and academic collaborations, and leads efforts to acquire local and national funding for the program. The Director of Community Science Education is a member of the NCSE program leadership team, working with the executive director and the other program directors to establish and achieve NCSE’s strategic vision.
