Stel Walker

LaStelshia (Stel) Walker has been a certified special educator in Maryland for over 15 years. What began within Baltimore City Public Schools supporting students diagnosed with disabilities of emotional disturbance, has shifted to supporting students' academic and social-emotional learning needs for Baltimore County Public Schools. Her dedication to environmental science and global education for science has led to an array of partnerships to advance practice and scholarship of all learners. Aside from being an educator, she enjoys writing poetry, being still in Nature, and meditating along bodies of water. She also has an affinity for cooking.
