A Stateline article (June 27, 2023) discussing the state of climate change education across the country featured comments from NCSE's deputy director Glenn Branch.
Branch was quoted to set the stage early in the article, saying, "Today’s students are tomorrow’s consumers, workers and voters ... Increasingly, they’re going to be faced with the need to make decisions about issues related to climate change."
Toward the end of the article, he also stressed the importance of preparing K-12 educators to teach climate change effectively.
