The second segment of "In the Beginning" -- the BBC World Service's two-part program on creationism featuring NCSE's executive director Eugenie C. Scott and Henry M. Aug 2008] In the second segment, Morris interviews atheist David Seaborg, evangelical pastor John MacArthur of The Master's College and Grace Community Church, and evangelical biologist Margaret Towne, author of Honest to Genesis: A Biblical and Scientific Challenge to Creationism. At the end of the segment, Morris travels to Grand Canyon National Park, where he briefly discusses the history of the canyon with a park interpreter and a Baptist pastor. Finally, Scott and Morris rendevous at the edge of the canyon to share their awe at the canyon's beauty as well as to discuss the diversity of religious reactions to evolution they encountered while conducting their interviews.
