Steven (Andy) graduated from Clemson University in 2004 with a BS in Geology. He primarily teaches Earth Science, but also Environmental Science and Astronomy.  He volunteers at the Virginia Museum of Natural History in the Paleo lab as a fossil preparator.  His current project is a cervical vertebra from a Diplodocus. He self-published a book in 2017 titled The Past is the Key to the Future: A History of the Universe, Earth, and Life, and he plays trumpet in a local community jazz band in the fall and spring.
