U.S. Rep. Sean Casten (D-Illinois) serves on the Science, Space, and Technology Committee and the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, and is the Vice Chair of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets. He also serves as Co-Chair of the New Democrat Coalition Climate Change Task Force and Co-Chair of the Sustainable Energy & Environment Coalition (SEEC) Power Sector Task Force. As a scientist, clean energy entrepreneur and CEO, and now as a member of Congress, Rep. Casten has dedicated his life to fighting climate change. While working diligently in Washington on behalf of Illinois’s 6th Congressional District, Rep. Casten is also committed to keeping in close contact with his constituents. He lives in Downers Grove with his wife and two daughters.
