- The Creation
-
Accomplished by a supernatural being
-
Everything created from nothing relatively recently.
-
The Earth was perfectly designed for life:
-
Protected by a vapor layer:
-
Uniform warm climate
-
Cosmic radiation could not penetrate
-
No wind or rain.
-
The land irrigated by water from underground.
-
All kinds created separately:
-
Each kind is unique and fixed.
-
Each kind is genetically highly variable.
-
Humans were uniquely created.
-
No decay occurred.
-
The Fall
-
The Second Law of Thermodynamics invoked:
-
Perfect order began to degenerate.
-
Death, decay, and disorder began.
-
People began to populate the Earth.
-
All humans descended from the original couple.
-
The vapor barrier enabled great longevity.

-
The Flood
-
Simultaneous, worldwide cataclysm.
-
All land was covered within 40 days.
-
Flood water had two sources:
-
The vapor barrier.
-
Underground reservoirs.
-
The Flood began 1656 years after creation.
-
The Flood formed and deposited the geologic column.
-
The Flood split the land mass into the present continents.
-
The only survivors were aboard one boat:
-
8 humans.
-
One pair of most kinds of animals.
-
Aboard boat for 371 days.
-
The Post Flood Period
-
Left over flood energy caused the ice ages.
-
Flood survivors repopulated the Earth.
-
All living species are descendants of the survivors:
-
They were modified by horizontal change to fill the Earth.
-
The animals had original genetic variability.
-
The vapor barrier was destroyed - longevity decreased.
-
All species degenerate since disorder must increase.
-
Present geological processes are different from those of the Flood.
