Catherine Henry holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Science and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Forestry at Michigan State University. Her dissertation research explores the impact of management practices on patterns of tree recruitment and growth in northern hardwood forests. As an undergraduate, her research experiences included studying the foraging response of bumblebees to climate-stressed plants, assessing dung beetle diversity, and participating in a biological oceanography research cruise. Before starting graduate school, Catherine worked as an environmental educator and naturalist, developing a passion for connecting people with nature.
