Meera Sethi

Meera Sethi is currently a Ph.D. student in Biology at the University of Washington in Seattle, but her undergraduate degree is in Comparative Literature (which she earned back in 2002!). She also holds a Masters' degree in Children's Literature and Teaching. Sethi worked as a middle school humanities teacher, a textbook editor, and a freelance medical writer before she decided to return to school to pursue her interest in ecology and species interactions. She is really passionate about the kind of outreach and education NCSE does because she is a walking example of how falling in love with science doesn't always happen in the classroom or on a timeline.
